Yeah, I guess these things, as cool as they are, have been having some maintenance probs, especially the first ones off the line. 2 gear collapses for SAS in the last week, and then, I don't know if any of you heard about the ANA Q400 nose gear incident back in March either...

It would be nice if Bombardier found something that they could correct through an AD.

Default Q400 Ad

Apparently Transport Canada is going to issue an AD to inspect all Q400s, not just those with over 10,000 cycles. FAA is expected to follow suit. This means QX will be cancelling over 100 flights again tommorow. Hoping to be back up to full strength by Friday afternoon.

SAAB, pilots in Toronto now training, started on the 11th. Flights to start on December.

Remember there is an option of 30 more down in IAH. Wonder why CAL would want 30 74 seaters in IAH? Hey they could fly to Mexico and perform as well as say a ERJ 145, for less money. Who has 145's out of IAH..hmmmmmmm.hmmmmm.hmmmmmm.

sorry, could not resist.

Default Colgan Q400's

We are supposed to get 2 of them for December so we can do the proving runs/IOE for the check airmen.

Sucks about all the cancelled flights, but it's good to hear that they're going to issue an AD. It sounds like there might be a problem that needs to be sorted out sooner than later.
