Alright I'm having a hard time understanding why Comair needs pilots so bad. I realize that attrition is suppose to be around 20/mo. However from reading some past posts it seems many new hires are not flying very much if at all and reserve is very long. Wouldn't that mean they are overstaffed?

Going to JFK you would be golden. Out of PBI or FLL you have tons of chances to get up to NYC on Jet Blue or Delta. Going to CVG or ATL you would be limited to Delta.

I know this was from two 10 yr CAs at ASA but should apply to your situation. They said that the flying really is up and down through out the year and so you will have alot of flying in the summer then a lull then flying in the winter then a lull and so on and so on. So that could be why you are sitting right now. Just wait untill Thanksgiving and Christmas. You will be flying your a$$ off.
