firefly, I am glad to finally agree with you on another thread. Airborne, I was getting anxious and sent my app out everywhere. I was then given very good advice and waited out for a good company. I couldn't be happier.

Just curious which you would choose if you had the choice. I would have to commute with either airline. I hear that TSA has a faster upgrade and more days off a month. I realize both suck but which would be better to get the time and move on?
Thanks  |

Neither... you may die at TSA because they are actually upgrading 1500TT wonders next month. Friends don't let friends fly TSA (or Mesa).
PSA and ASA are hiring just as low time as Mesa or TSA... try one of those. |
Or try Pin or Eagle.
|
Go to Mesaba :D
|
neither.....be patient, build up your time, and apply to one of the top-tier regionals (SkyWest, AAEagle, Republic family)

There are sooooooooooooooo many other places better than those two. Just start sending resumes to every single one of them. You'll get at least a few phone calls out of the deal and will be so much happier. Heck, you'll be winning in the bargain by just avoiding feeling suicidal!
Most places are at least eager, if not desperate, for pilots. XJET Eagle Mesaba CHQ family Skywest ASA Comair PCL etc etc. Some of the ones I just listed may be in doldrums or less than ideal, but they are ALL much better than Mesa or TSA. |
