Default New President at Comair

Third President in what, 5 years? Thats what I call loyalty and stability. Here we go again........" I am so proud to be with the comair team, a professional team, the best in the industry, oh by the way, we need a 15% paycut to survive and remain competative".........yea, ok....

I'm holding out for the Q-400s.

Oh wait that was 2 presidents ago!

I am curious about this new guy. He seems like a Delta insider unlike most of his predecessors (correct me if I am wrong). It appears to me that Delta won't have to deal with a middle man when dictating what happens at Comair. Not quite sure if this is a good or a bad thing.

According to Epic, Bornhorst is going to be the new head of Delta Connection. Could this be a good thing for Comair?

Guessing from my experiences like this in another industry, I would venture to say that Mr. Bornhorst would never want to appear partial to Comair by awarding "too much" new flying.

Just a WAG though.

When my class went through training we were told that the new contract made us the 2nd cheapest DCI partner to Mesa. I don't know if this is true, but that is what was said.

I'd buy that, maybe not 2nd cheapest, but pretty darn close... just look at our payscale (vs. everyone else) now vs. pre-paycut.
