Well they start at the top of seniority in the class and ask him first if he wants to go to the ATR, and if he says no they just work their way down the seniority list of the class, so almost always it goes to the 4 youngest.

UPS pays the same regardless of type of aircraft. I don't hear anyone *****ing about them. So why would someone ***** about a regional doing the same thing?

Get real Look at how much they make, compared to how much Skywest, ASA, Comair pay. The FO's at UPS will make more than the top captain at these companies

Well I feel that I spent the money to do the CRJ Jet training course in preparation of flying a CRJ. I feel I would be a better fit in the CRJ already having CRJ experience and a basic knowledge of the systems.
But that being said, if I do get put in the ATR I am not going to complain about it, its turbine time regardless, and I have a regional airline job. So what is there really to complain about? Plus I hear all the ATR guys are the funnest to be around at ASA.
