The last flight out of DTW is usually about half full and will often have empty rows in first.

Commuting worked ok but i'm glad to be back home. I was also glad to have a crashpad there with a shuttle and breakfast/lunch.

Would you mind divulging where your crashpad was located..........I'm looking for one for the rest of November in DTW

MQT works too with Mesaba. I always had the best luck with MKE because NWA has a bunch of flights back and forth from MSP, but Midwest has quite a few too (and they're a whole lot nicer to jump on than NWA). I had absoutely horrible luck commuting back and forth from and to DTW, way better luck with MEM. But 9 times out of 10 the 10:30PM flight was more than half open. Gives you a lot of time to enjoy the LSD trip that is the tunnel between the A and B+C concourses.
