Default DTW Crashpad question

I've spent about an hour looking for the correct forum to put this in and can't find it.

I've been looking for a crashpad around DTW for about a month now and haven't had any luck. I'm a paid member of crashpads dot com and have also looked at crewcommute dot com. I've made tons of phone calls and haven't had a bit of luck. No answer, no vacancy, women only...etc. etc.

Tonight, I'm starting the first of three high-speed (CDO) days with 10-12 hour breaks during the day time.

Question 1, does anyone know of a crash pad resource that I'm not looking at?

Question 2, hotels don't seem to understand the concept of a day room...is there a particular hotel chain that works well with pilots and/or flight attendants?

The Hotel opposite of Night Inn.

If you get to the hotel after ur 1st highspeed and check in they will let u keep the room for the night. Check in around 9 am and the next day ask for late check out and check out I think 5 pm so u can take two naps after ur highspeed.

I don't know if the private message works or not, but try to send me one. Are you with 9E?

Guys,

Can crashpading in DTW be done without having a car?

What are the choices there?

Thanks a lot

from my experience the only way to do that is if you have a hotel crashpad. If the place doesnt provide its own transportation you definitely need a car.

Pinnacle pilots have crashpads going on at various hotels around the area. If you are 9E just do a search on the message board, if you're not, just ask someone in DTW - there are a couple ads posted up in ops they can copy down for you.

If you are at Pinnacle, check out the airlinkpilots. There's a listing for the Clarion CP, i'm not sure if there's a spot open or not.
