What? Is that a serious statement? So you think one of the reasons we should vote yes to the TA is because the 200 and ATR guys are getting a good pay raise, and forget about our paycheck? I think that everyone should get what they deserve. Like dba said I would also vote no if I saw my fellow pilots getting overlooked. Comes down to numbers. Management knows that they can screw over the 700 guys by making the 200 and ATR pilots happy. We don't have the numbers, or the backing from the rest of the pilot group to turn the TA down.

Bad parts of TA:

Rigs for schedule, not actual : All trips will be constructed right to the rig.

No credits for Reserves unless over 75 hrs : No Reserve will EVER fly over 75!

MMG Proration : Losing base pay.

Maybe you havent been paying attention. Pay should not be your only reason for voting no is my stance.

No you may not be paying attention. "So you think one of the reasons we should vote yes to the TA is because the 200 and ATR guys are getting a good pay raise, and forget about our paycheck?"

Please take a look at every other clause in the agreement besides pay. One of the reasons for you voting should not focus heavily on what we are getting. I am not asking you to vote yes because of OUR raise.

Now i understand that our raise is more proportionally and how that can be unfair, however too many other things in the TA are being overlooked. You are looking at it from the stance that 200 and ATR guys are getting more of a percentage raise than me, so in turn you dont like the TA.

That is turning your back on all the other things the union has fought for over the past five years, BESIDES pay.

As I have said before, the large RJ's are where the growth is now and in the near future. The ATR's and older 200's will likely be retiring soon. We will probably receive CRJ-900's and would get paid MESA's CURRENT rates to fly them with the TA. In fact the only lower paid 70-76 seat pilots would be at Comair (bankruptcy-forced concession), Skywest, and Gojet! Stop this race to the bottom!

I have never said that the only reason i don't like the TA is because of pay. I hope that you are like myself and have read the WHOLE TA. I have circled, highlighted, underlined made notes on the whole thing, and think we can do better after 5 years!
