The un-reality program is only going to get increasingly prevalent as the writers' strike continues.
Sure would be nice if we had the power to strike like they do...

I would be doing the exact same thing, but I am never home anymore! That show is on like every night, everyone dances 500 time before they ever vote someone off. Drives me crazy?Originally Posted by SkyWestPilot1
You sure could be right, who knows, but my wife is watching that stupid dancing with the stars again so I hide down here in the basement talking to you guys.

I was just being a sarcastic and making fun of people who sell out chasing a quick upgrade. I didn't take anything you said in any wrong manner. I agree, no way Southwest farms out flying. Still mad about the stock. Why so volatile?
Sorry, didn't mean to sound volatile. Obviously, I didn't pick up on the sarcasm. Take Care.Originally Posted by Koolaidman

Slaphappy,
You said we were going to get tons of Delta flying, I agreed with you, but it didn't happen. I don't remember any of your other "rumor" posts. It seems to me that the more people who know about the rumor, the less chance of it coming true. I didn't even know about MKE, and Denver shutting down was about one week in advance. You are still my boy!

I guess a remote possibility would be for SKW to start up a branded operation and then enter into a code-share with SWA...I'm not sure how their scope would address that (they are already doing it with ATA)..

My buddy at SWA called me last night...he did a little research, and apparently there is actually some noise over there about a regional affiliation. He thinks the pilot group has pretty good control of scope, but that they have or are working something out with the company. There is also something to this effect on the Majors forum.
You'd think SWA would be more concerned with international (ie Europe and Asia) feed vs. domestic feed these days. Codesharing with SkyWest would certainly be breaking away from their playbook.
Mike Boyd and company have been saying for over a year that Southwest must change their gameplan if they are to remain competitive and that Southwest management knows it.

I don't know if that LUV thing will happen, but I heard the "big announcement" will be Brad Holt going to ASA. I heard it from a couple of people, so it must be true =)
