Car during training
#25
Did any of you guys drive to training? I start in January and it's suppose to be 4-5 weeks long. So i was thinking that that's a pretty long time with no car. And the training is only about 45 minutes from my hometown. So i figured i could s
ve myself a plane ticket for christmas and just drive up there and stay until training starts. But i'm not sure if it'd be worth it in gas and having to deal with the snow. Or i'm not even sure if you would have enough extra free time to make a car worthwhile.

Take your car. Good God man.Ok, I re-read the thread and saw you are further away. Take the car anyway. It will be nice to be able to see your family at your will. Also, it sucks to be at the mercy of the hotel van...or your classmates.

No but i also found out that Uhaul wants $200 for a car trailer when i eventually move all my stuff. Plus i'll save on buying a plane ticket home to Ohio for christmas since i can just stay up there until class starts. So if i drive i should actually be saving some $$$.
