880 is spot on.... the infuriation is building in our class as of today. No need to study ahead. Its a good time to get to know everyone. INDOC test tomorrow.... systems starts Thursday. Unfortunately we have NO CA upgrades in our class so we are sorta shooting in the dark. Employee number first day...hopefully you guys will get HR the first day..HOWEVER word is you guys will be on the 1530 to 0030 schedule for at least a few days and HR doesnt like to spend the night.... we just got them today on day 6. Good luck to you all. Other than that the FSI guys have been pretty good.

Did you guys get your IDs? If not, let me know so we can make sure the holiday classes don't get hosed and stuck in STL over the holiday without the ability to jumpseat. Welcome to the company, its downright unprofessional how they treat new hires during training. The only consolation I can offer is that things get much better once you hit the line. Reserve should also be fairly short. I'm sure you know all about cooperate to graduate, but make sure you make the game and take care of each other.

We got our IDs about halfway through the second week, but we started on a Wednesday.
Yeah, I can see them not doing the security paperwork until after the holidays for the 12/17 classes and then telling them that they will only positive space them to a base(or not at all for a 3 day break) over Christmas. Another great way to welcome new members of the team, leave them stranded in STL for Christmas without the ability to get themselves home if they chose.

Guys, youll often feel like youre on your own island during training... where no one from the company cares about you. You wont be able to get anyone on the phone, and alot of your questions will go unanswered.
However, I assure you, there are people here who care about you. We need you now more than ever. This is a great pilot group, full of a bunch of great younger guys/gals, who are absolutely a blast to work with every day. Once you get out on the line, it will be completely different. Keep your head up, get on republicpilots.org for your information, and work hard during training. This is my second airline. And I could not recommend it highly enough to anyone.
Anyone have any questions, feel free to PM ANY of the RAH guys floating around here, or post something on rp.org. You will get a response one of us, I assure you.
Good luck, and welcome aboard.
