Republic class dec 17th
#1
Just wondering if anyone on here is going to the Republic class on Dec. 17th for the 170?? I was offered the training date and was emailed the promissary note and the training contract but no information on the hotel where we are staying and no plane ticket yet to get there. Just wondering if I should give Linda or Kim a call to make sure I get those or wait it out. If anyone is going to that class, let me know if you received those in their email or if they are still waiting to hear from them. Thanks and can't wait to get there!!

Congrats Stumpie,
I'm interviewing with them on Thursday the 6th and I haven't received my standy-by email yet, so maybe they're just backd up.
What times did you have when you interviewed if you don't mind me asking?

I had 1200/100. No I haven't checked out the Republic forums. I don't even know how to do that (unless you mean on here) so if you could enlighten me that would be great. I'm just wondering if they need us to memorize certain stuff like at some other airlines. If this is the case, they need to get that stuff to us so we can start our studying.

I was told during the interview that they don't give you material ahead of time on purpose. They would rather you show up with slate clean and ready to learn and have no conflicting information to unlearn.

This should be a more direct link:

Hey Strumphie,
How much multi time was in the last 3 mos?
Just testing the waters and seeing how I'm gonna do come Thursday.

I did a time building thing with a local FBO in Florida in late July. I got a few more hours with my FBO in Columbus, OH in between that time. With that said, probably 5 hrs. They didn't have a whole lot of questions about the multi time. In fact, it didn't seem to grab their interest at all. Good luck on the interview.

No pre-study material. You'll get an FSI bag and plenty of books on day 1. Don't sweat it, there is plenty of time to learn everything. Spend some quality time during Indoc getting to know your classmates. Indoc is a good time for social and liver training. You will become infuriated with how corporate treats newhires at some point. Find a CA in the class or get on rp.org. It will help you tremendously as you find your own way into the company.
As far as recent multi time, don't sweat it. I was hired with just a handful of recent multi time. If you have good qualifications otherwise, you should be alright.
