I honestly think ATR CA in MIA is around 15 years seniority, and LAX Saab is around 6-7 years seniority. I don't know on a Turbo-Prop, but on the jet it takes about 13-17 months for 1000 hrs of PIC Turbine.

Would someone please second this for me! I can't believe that figure.

Sincerely,
Apollo

What are the trips like out of DFW for the Saab and ERJ? How long is reserve running on each of them?

This is a quote from the the thread suggesting that the WSJ is on to us; us being regional pilots with low TT. What's your take on this cessna157? Nuff said???;)

One thing that bugs me being BOS based is we will lose rights to fly that shuttle routes under APA's scope. Definitly puts BOS and LGA domicles in trouble. The company admited that they will lose roughly 250 point to point flights out of the NE and RDU. Service will definity be scaled back, whether it amounts to furlough or not who knows.

I heard the same thing in the crew room in lax from the chief. He also said that it will affect the LAX EMJ. LAX will lose the flying from SNA and SJC

According to the last seniority list that I saw, the junior Miami ATR CA award was hired in Oct. 99. Any upgrade at Eagle is about 8 years. Doubt it will really get much better. Only was 140 or so flowbacks left there before I left Eagle, and a TON of very senior FOs waiting for only the EMJ or CRJ upgrade.

I know that AE is notorious for their slow upgrade. But something has to give sooner or later?!

Thanks IQuitEagle.
