Inquiring minds want to know....

My given name is Benjamin Buford Blue, but people call me Bubba. Just like one of them ol' redneck boys. Can you believe that?
When I was hired, there was a guy in the class that had about 1700tt. 1550 of that time was helo time. So I guess it can be done. He was a great guy with a really good attitude.

Nope, the hiring matrix has slowed down, I used to work there as a ramper, got hired by AE as an F.O. was told to go somewhere else, might not see any new faces there till FEB/MAR time period.

Lbell et al, you guys aren't considering the fact that, while they may not have "posted mins," unless you a) have a CRJ course or b) have some significant IFR experience in a twin, you're probably not going to make it through the interview. Also, any 250 hour guy better hit the books hard, because ATP-level questions not from the ATP Gleim book are probably app killers.

Even PSA states their "competitive" mins are 600TT...they're just building app pools. Any 250 hr guys with no jet course who somehow pass the interview will probably get washed out of 121 groundschool (hopefully). Honestly, I don't think the average dude with 250 hours w/o jet training/sim experience will make it. I hope not.

I interviewed with PSA with 650/50 with a jet course course and got the job. I have to say though they didnt have a problem finding all older 1000 + hour pilots which was the majority

It's true, there were some stipulations. I know one guy got hired but he had way more than 300ttl.

Guess what? I have not heard a thing from anyone except for airnet. I take that back, several came back with an e-mail and told me to get some more time. So i guess they are not hiring everyone at 300tt.

I thought I'd just throw that out there.
That's because you are an FSU fan, and if you were a GATOR fan, they'd be knocking your door down!!!!

The original post (including header) specifically stated "....with those who have a CRJ Course".......

Glad to see I'm not the only UF grad/fan in the industry.

Go Gators!
