I've got you beat. I Ferry to LGA, fly to RDU, deadhead to BOS (on Freedom).
I don't mind spending XMAS night in BOS. Half priced food and a good bar in a nice hotel. Only have to leave the hotel room 45 mins before the flight in the AM, so I'm all set!

Just did a CHS overnight last night. There's a brand new outlet mall across from the hotel, except it'll most likely be closed on XMas day. Other than that, there is nothing near the hotel. Resaturant downstairs and room service is about all you'll get

I start IOE out of ORD tomorrow (I am DFW based). I will be in IND on Christmas day. No biggie. My wife and I knew last Christmas would likely be our last for a while. Right now I am in DFW delayed going to ORD due to high crosswinds here
30024G32KT and low ceilings in ORD (18013KT 2SM BR OVC005). Four hour delay so far. I gave up a career in IT sitting in a cubicle for this? Absolutely.
