I would go with former military on a momentary relapse of the time he used to have power over hundreds and now has power over an FO, 2 FAs and a jumpseater.
The majority of ex-military airline pilots aren't like that at all...they got out, remember? The real power-hungry types stick around to collect their stars.

I agree, taking liquids through security is a must for me... I carry around a gallon or two of milk at all times just in case I get thirsty in the cockpit.

Mr. Reebok:

We can tell that you are all about looking-sharp, based on your sneaker Wearing, Capitalization and Grammer-Skill's.

I would have said the same thing if I was that captain. Humor is a rubber sword.

The CA had probably just watched another rerun of his all time favorite on his layover, and so was all primed to break out the inquisition on the next presumed "airline pilot guy" impersonator that tried to hop a free ride to MIA (or wherever you were heading).

Ms. Grammar:

Well call me what you'd lile then, my friend - you're not hurtin' my feelings LoL! Gifts for my family take priority in my rollaboard over a spare pair of shoes any day of the week, and twice on Tuesday. Oh, and you're right! My grammar is nearly unreadable

Good idea. I think I'm going to start taking a wagon filled with gallons of water through security just to make out-of-uniform people jealous.

Yeah...I got that. Two can play the sarcastic game. I hope you didn't think I was actually planning on taking a wagon filled with water through the airport at all times. Or were you being sarcastic with me, too?
