Default Republic vs Shuttle

If you are looking for CMH as a base would one be better than the other?

Republic or CHQ. As an FO you'll be paid the same on either so no reason to just jump at the 170. If CMH is your choice then spring for one or the other.

I was supposed to be in the Jan 30 CHQ class but I got an email today saying that they want volunteers to go to the CRJ class so I don't know if they are running a 145 class also or not so it looks like either take a Shuttle or Republic class in February or wait until March and take a CHQ class. I don't want to wait two more months.

Between Shuttle or Republic, take Republic. Right now, growth and/or bigger airplanes have to go there.

Would CMH be possible out of training? Is it even open yet?

It seems that once you get hired into the Republic holdings system you can upgrade to which ever aircraft your senority will allow. So if your in the 170 and you can hold Captain in the 145 you can transfer to it. I have heard that some of the 170/175 guys and galls have a little problem going from a full automated computer controled a/c to a more do it your self type plane like the 145.

Thats funny to hear the 145 described as a "do it your self type plane". I think every switch in the 145 has an "auto" position.

Why do the additional airplanes have to go to Republic? Can't they go to Shuttle too?
