Default Shuttle Questions

Starting class on Feb. 4. I'm pretty damn excited about it. I've yet to talk to a pilot that doesn't like working for Republic which is the exact opposite from waterskiing.

What base is junior right now and how long can I expect to sit reserve at each? I'll be commuting and have lots of options for getting to all of the cites with the exception of CMH. Also, which codeshare is the flying for out of IND and do you see any chances of a DEN base opening up in the near future for UAL?

Did Republic add all three certificates to CMH to compete with Skybus?

Or does it solely have to do with the majors they fly for?

we dont get to pick where our flying goes. its just a big maint. base for us, no competition with skybus as they dont serve the same cities.

Don't hate CMH, just don't have nearly as many options to get there commuting unless I make it more than one leg. That really doesn't appeal to me as it just adds one more flight to get stranded on.

Anyone know the answers to these:

1) What do ya'll anticipate will happen to hiring mins at Shut/Rep/CHQ over the course of the next 6 months, as spring picks up?

2) How low does Shut/Rep/CHQ go on the total time reqs if you have 100 multi? Or 200 multi?

3) Anyone know what kind of health ins./prescription coverage they offer?

Thanks for any answers!!!

Ive been hearing that most new hires are getting CMH with a few getting ORD-
ATL seems to be very senior-thoe all is just hear say from the forums the recruiters would give us no info on this because they said they didnt know.
I'm supposed to interview with them on 14th, any info on how your interview went would be great(HR Q's,Technichal Q's, Sim Profile, etc.)

Good luck in training and keep us posted!!

For the person wanting to know about hiring min's. well I was at a job fair on Friday and everyone that did not meet both the TT n ME times were told that the would not get an interview untill they did. Seems as they are getting enough applicants that meet or exceed these times that there not budging at all.

Insurance plans seem to be very good -Health, dental & eye. 5/10 $ RX
