I'm glad to see they worked with your start date, I'll probably apply as soon as I hit 300 and try to get a mid June start then.

For what its worth, I was hired on at PSA as a Dispatcher back in June. Since then, I am seeing FO's with employee numbers 150+ above mine, and FO's who were in my class (mid-June) in the right seat on the 700s.

Sorry for the ignorance, but what do you mean by a training contract? I got paid what I was hired at while in training, but as I said, I'm a dispatcher, not a pilot, yet. Also as far as Dayton goes, about the only good thing about living here if you get DAY as a base is the cost of living. Its cheap to live here. Other than that, there isn't much to write home about. I've been here all my 26 years and cant wait to leave. It snows too much, and gets too cold for my tastes.

No, as far as the contract goes.

As far as the hiring goes, we plan on hiring 250 pilots between now and May.

By the way, if you are coming to class soon, get caught up on your sleep now!!

Some regionals make you sign a training contract stipulating if you quit before a certain period of time, you must reimburse them for the cost of training.

Ahhh, makes sense now. Couldn't tell you on that one, dont have much reason to pay attention to the contracts of the pilots at the moment.

Its hard to say. CLT = forever. Things change all the time though especially with some many people comming in at once.

The rumor is that upgrade is looking about a year and a half.
