Default PSA Hiring

I'm just finishing up at ATP and will be instructing for at least a few months. I'm getting married in June and want to end up at PSA and be based in Knoxville. I'm at least instructing through June but want to move on as soon as possible after that. I should have at least 450TT and 175 Multi by then.

I know what their published mins are but what is PSA actually hiring at?
Plus do people know how senior Knoxville is?

Thanks

I've heard that a lot of people have been failing out in training. Their mins are still the same, but they prefer applicants with at least 100 multi.

When i got hired I had 900 TT and 8 hours multi, I was an instructor for about a year and half before interviewing with them and I passed my Sim checkride just 2 hours ago, got LOFT tomorow. There were 3 guys in my indoc class that had less than 300 hours and they were NOT ATP guys, just regular FBO trained guys, they all 3 passed up to their orals at least, only 1 guy failed out before our oral and he was prior 135 so go figure, its not PSAs training, I thought pretty highly of it myself. Now, where youll stay in training is a totally different story, I believe there is a current forum on that right now as well haha. Anyways, about the low time guys simulator training, they just starte yesterday so no word on their progress yet but they were all three pretty sharp in ground school.

We have hired as low as 300 and a new multi ticket depending on the applicant. The longer you wait to apply the more senioirty you lose. CFI's tend to do a bit better from my experience. Knoxville is a great base and you usually move fast up the list there because everyone wants charlotte.

Did you do the bridge course? If so you will do just fine.

I haven't but if I instruct at ATP for 300 hrs its free, so I'll probably do it.

I interviewd the 16th with 650TT and 38ME with a CFI. Made it all the way through the interview and did well on the sim and am now praying for a phone call this week. I know of a guy who interviewed on the 15th and got the call on Friday, so I think that the people who went on the 16th will get it on Monday if they made it.The people who will do your interview are great and alot of fun. Have a good time in the interview I think they are looking not only for a good pilot but a fun person to work with. But the company looks like it is growing. I even told them I would base in Dayton and stay there (I already live there).... So that has to account for something?

Brad,
Your times are really close to mine, if you did alright in the sim I'd expect the call monday. I'd guess they are still hiring for the feb 4 class..if so I'll see you there.
