APC says July 2007, I've heard it is in the 1-2 month range if you have the time.

A guy in my class went to upgrade class a couple weeks after initial checkride. He didn't even have the 100hrs in pinnacle aircraft.

Checck out the profile page, there are a few different requirements...More total time, less company. Less total time, more with the company.

You need at least 100 hrs in PNCL, but if you never flew the CRJ don't expect to upgrade in less than 6 months. The People that upgrade that quick is because they have CRJ time like all the guys we are getting from COMAIR. 3500TT is the minimum which I think 2000 turbine you have to have at least.

Not true. As mentioned before, the absolute mins are 2000TT w/1500 PNCL time w/ 100 hours in the "mentor" program (flying with a "mentor" CA). After that the minimums go up to the 2500-3500 range depending on your TT and time on type/PNCL time.

The upgrade is still quick although there is now a minimum of 100 hours on PNCL A/C prior to upgrade regardless of TT.

However, be careful about coming to PNCL before we get a contract. With everything that's going on now, it's a game of russian roulette...

1800TT is required to 'enter' the pilot mentor program. So, you must have 1800TT to start the mentor program.

Then, you need to do at least 100 hrs with a Captain mentor.

Then, once you get 2000 TT (and 1500 of that at Pinnacle), you can upgrade.

How times change! I love this thread. Right now a July 2007 DOH is still a FO. March 2007 FOs got upgraded and then downgraded after the SLI and parking of the Saabs. Good stuff, eh?
