Does your landing look like this?

Does the EMB-Jet have multiple landing flap settings, espec. ones used for crosswinds ???
Not sure if I was clear with my question, but in the DASH-8 we had flaps 15 or 35. Flaps 15 worked better when there was turbulence or crosswinds.
Second question, did I miss it, where was the landing at. Does this airport have more than one runway choice ?
Just curious,
FF

I got to agree with mike. The original post showed a pretty landing following a horrible approach and even worse judgement. Remember, your families ride on these RJ's too. I didn't catch the view of the attitude indicator, but do ya think from that video there was +/- 5 degrees pitch change? Think there was unsual power settings involved too? Remember the Delta airplane at DFW in 1986 or AA in Little Rock just a few years ago? Some good stick skills were shown, but what was the margin of error that he/she thankfully did not cross before this ends up on the front page as a photo of red blinking lights in front of a cloud of black smoke?
Seriously folks. We are all members of the "I did something stupid and lived" club. As professional aviators we are paid to not be a member of that club. Use better judgement so that your family doesn't get a visit from law enforcement accompanied by a chaplain.
This guy needs to go through windshear training in his next PC until he learns to go around and wait/find safe conditions. It's one thing when it is you and an airplane. It's another when 50 people paid you to take care of them safely.
Rant over. Go have fun in your Pitts/Extra/Super Cub.
