New hire, upgrade, pc?

When I transitioned back in August, they were telling the upgrades that they would be holding a line in February or March...

It doesn't seem as if anyone seems to know anything over there!!! But they do start some great, and I mean great, rumors!

yeah newhire coming from the regional with probably the longest upgrade...I know this is probably nothing more than a rumor just thought I would share it and see what everyone thought...

Horizon? Eagle?

The way it sounds, we are going to have long upgrades now! I'd better go to RAH for the quick upgrade, get my 1000 PIC and get hired by Southwest. It is that easy! Just ask anyone!

So I've read about rumors of Skywest buying ExpressJet, Comair, Eagle, and now Mesa. So lets just get it over with and start one in which skywest buys Republic Holdings.:p

I'll ask tomorrow and see what I can find out :)

*if* Mesa goes bankrupt, its stock will be worth zero. If they come out of bankruptcy, they'll reissue their stock. but still the old stock would be worthless.

it doesn't always happen that way. sometimes, after a bankruptcy organization, the original stock still stands or is swapped out for new stock at some rate. so it's not always worthless. that being said, it's not a great personal plan to buy stock and then declare bankruptcy for your company. wouldn't make a whole lot of sense.

buying stock in anticipation of having your company bought by someone else makes much more sense, financially.

Wouldn't that be considered insider trading...which of course JO is very familiar.

That would be one heck of a turnaround--you start indoc at Mesa, and three days after your checkride you hear the news--now you're a Skywest FO with your 250 hours TT...that would be one lucky scenario for some kid!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
