Does it have to be PIC? I thought they just want how much total Multi time you have. So duel does not count?

Total ME time, however ME time logged as a safety pilot does not count.

Default Pic Time For Eagle

I went to Eagle interview, and here is what they want for single or multi:

Solo before private, every Dual received = STUDENT TIME
Dual given = PIC
Under Hood, w/ safety pilot, not instructor = PIC
Safety Pilot = PIC

STUDENT TIME + PIC = YOUR TOTAL TIME

Thanks a lot for the info AEFO and Bgmann, that helps a lot... Think I'll try and hit the 50 multi first then, dont really want to pay for that 10 week deal.

Just wondering if anyone might know what the current status of reserve length (months, years on) in ORD, BOS, and LGA is? How is being on reserve and commuting with AE. I have 7yrs with AE right now as an agent so the 5yr travel in coach is free. What are the avg. prices for a crash pad in those cities....thanks for any info! Sorry if its off the topic!
I am finishing up 1st week of training, so I have no experience yet. What I can give you is what I have been told by AE pilots on the line or reserve currently.

ORD on the EMJ=1-2 months reserve, CRJ=upwards of 1/2-1 year.

BOS ~4months.

LGA=guy 6 weeks prior to me in training and he already holds a line in LGA/ERJ!

DFW=been laughed at and the comment "LONG".

Like I said I have no definite answers on reserve time, but what I have been told across the board is consistent. No experience on the crashpads. I have looked a bit on Craigslist.com . Also try going to www.EagleLounge.com if you want to pay an inexpensive fee of $4.95 per year for Eagle Lounge member.

Why would Eagle not take your safety pilot time? If the time is allowed to be logged by the FAA why would it not be good enough for Eagle?

bgmann thanks so much for that info! It will really help!

Hmmm I'm a DFW CRJ FO at Eagle. Never asked/said anything about my ME safety pilot time. I was hired with 570TT /430 multi.

How does Eagle determine if they're going to send you down to Vero Beach before training? Is there a certain hour requirment to skip that step?

Typically less than 800/100, or if you havent flown a lot in the recent year.
