I wouldn't have been in such a rush to get out of ATP had they been paying me 2000/mo after rent! I was pulling in a whole 800...ouch! Ya'll got it too easy

"what are some good freight places? anything in washington state?"

You'll need 1200 total for PIC 135 freight. SIC 121 freight in WA? About the only one I can think of is Empire out of Coeur D Alene, ID. I don't think they hire low timers, either.

Doesn't Ameriflight do some flying out of WA? Like Seattle area? If I remember correctly, they have a right seat program if you're close on times. I don't think 450TT is close enough but it doesn't hurt to check into it. Other option might be some VFR stuff like traffic watch, pipeline patrol, fish spotting, fire spotting, etc.

Not sure what your hurry is. $2000/month flying twins (all PIC btw) and $2000/month flying RJs (all SIC) spends the same, doesn't it?

I wouldn't call riding the shuttle to the Holiday Inn in the dark after a long day, then riding the shuttle back to the airport the next morning before the sun comes up "traveling".

After a month or two of jumpseating and non-revving you won't really want to see an airplane on your days off.
