Bad Landing

Been at chautauqua for almost a year, never had any real problems landing. Last week, VFR, light to no winds at IND, some reason was too late on the flare and bam, I thought I lost wings. One passenger made a comment when deplaning. Feeling pretty bad about this, anyone had the same thing happen? I know no one will fly perfect all the time, but man, that was terrible.

Its when we need to be good that matters
Gusting to 45kts etc............

And mostly, it's not when things are really wild and blustery. Those times, it seems you make the best landings--it's when you least expect it...
