ASA has stopped hiring...

John thanks for that positive perspective... You are right, it is a blow to my confidence, but I also hope it puts me in a better job now that I know what to expect from airline interviews (It was my first one)...
Thanks again

My first interview went great.
It was for the AWESOME entry level job...I wanted it SO badly.
Last step of the interview was a flight in their jet. It was my first jet experience and I got a little overwhelmed during the pre-departure and let myself get in a little bit of a hurry and sort of forgot to brief the captain on the departure.
Whoops. Slow down, remember basic airmanship.
I was not selected. It sucked. Major blow to my confidence too, especially since unlike you, I had a definite screw up and left feeling like I had poor judgment and am a lousy pilot.
That experience prepared me to literally sail through my interview with ASA and what the hell, here I am.
I think this is going to work out better for me than that job I wanted so bad...I'll fly more in a more standardized environment into busier airports.
It all happens for a reason, helps me to remember to trust that there's a purpose to it all and God is watching out for me as long as I abide in Him.
Keep on trucking!

I just saw an ad on the WFFF website from ASA dated 3/26/08 advertising for FO's. Mins are 500/50, with preference given to candidates with prior 121 experience.

1 class starting May 5th besides my class wich started today(3/31) and then that is going to be it for a while they told us today, until they further review there staffing needs. Fuel costs are the reason they say. Looks like besides the may 5th class I'm at the bottom of the seniority list for a while, at least Im the 3rd oldest in my class.
Also for anyone that is interested my class of 10 were all assigned the 700.
