You guys get kicked out of the XJT crew room? Came to work today and there were Colgan guys sleeping in our (CAL) crew room... I suggest discontinuing this. Just some advice.

Why not wake them and tell him to leave? Colgan should not be in there sleeping just like CAL should not be in ours. Next time kick them in the butt and tell them "Gets to steppin' Gina

Can't we all just get along!!!! A lot of people wich Colgan could afford a crew room, but they won't.

Colgan cant afford to set up a crew room for you? If this is the case you need to demand one, not going into CAL's room and sleeping in there. You guys are NOT CAL employee's and dont belong in there.

I've hung out in other companies' crew rooms, and I've had pilots/employees of other companies hang out in our crew rooms. Just because we don't all work at the same company, doesn't mean we shouldn't be cordial to one another.

The airline industry is a small one, and getting even smaller by the day.
The pilot you kicked out of the crewroom today, might be the one interviewing you tomorrow. Regardless, you never know who is listening or watching.

FYI: There was a memo put out the other day to all EWR crews regarding this and it stated that pilots found using the CAL/XJT crew room and reported will face disciplinary action up to and possibly including termination.

I dont even know where these rooms are, what room is directly under the gate 80 area near the employee cafe, is that the XJT or CAL or both? I use their microwave to heat up my lunch sometimes since I pack it from home but it is in the common area in that room in the hallway. It says XJT on it but I honestly can not imagine another pilot reporting me or having a problem with me using their nuker for a minute forty five.

I cannot see management being overly concerned about this to the point they would terminate employment. If I was a betting man I'd say that note, like most crewroom notes, was placed they by some disgruntled XJ/CAL pilot.

I think its time to grow up now, boy and girls.

The CAL F/A's are the worst they are always using the computers in our Crew room that say, "FOR EXPRESSJET EMPLOYEES ONLY", and sleep on our recliners, can you imagine what their F/A's would do if one of our "Express" pilots/ FA's did that???? They would go nuts.............Very territorial those CAL F/A's.......... I also just love when they open up our closet int he airplane and throw their bags in without asking our F/As.............again the world would end if we did that on one of their planes.


Colgan guys should not be using CALs or XJT's Crew rooms, just like XJT should not be in CAL's vica versa,they should force their Cheap, slimy management to make one of their own.

Same crap used to happen at AMR.... we stayed out of their crew lounge and they stayed out of ours.

This is how NWA Mesaba Compass and Pinnacle do it... Maybe im missing something here, but I wouldnt think of going into another airlines crew lounge.
Was the same at ACA... we wouldnt even think of going into UAL's crew room and we never saw them in ours.
