If you can speak Portuguese maybe you can fly a E-190. I'm betting SKW is going to be making a big investment with Neelman when he starts his new airline in Brazil.

I was in your shoes about 4 months ago, with the decision to leave Mesa for RAH. I stayed and upgraded, and am happy I did.

I am worried about the future and if Mesa will exist in 6 months, and if so, in what form.

At the end of the day I am logging PIC, enjoying it. I'm flying as much as I can (90-95 hours/month) , to make myself best qualified for my next job, whatever it may be.

Tough decision to make. I found after I decided to stay, that I was unhappy about being away from friends and family during the holidays. This was making me hate the job. Turns out, I don't hate it. I am much more content with that now than I was before.

Good luck either way, let us know what you do.
