You might have specified that this is "Go" airlines, in Hawaii, not "Go Jet" airlines like the title suggests.

How long until passengers realize they get what they pay for? Granted, I'm a lowly CFI at the moment, but I don't mind paying extra to avoid Mesa/GoJet, etc.

Folks, I think we have finally gotten thru to the CFI's NOT to apply at places like Mesa and Goat jets. I am so proud of you guys...

Ha ha, I'm not planning on going anywhere NEAR those airlines after I graduate. I know its a little like shooting myself in the foot, but I'd rather go for a "stable" regional than chase something shiny that burns Jet-A.

Whats up with Mesa.....heard their share price was at like $.65 the other day. Bankruptcy around the corner?

After listening to the tape, I must say that the controller was very calm and composed; like it happened to her every day of the week (maybe it does...).

Last month I was flying through Dallas and a Seminole went nordo for about 10 minutes. When they finally answered (3 miles from their destination of Arlington and still at 6000') the controller went postal on him for overflying DFW without responding.

If I was her I would have chewed them out bigtime!

And the ORD controllers give me hell when I don't respond as they're barely unkeying the mic! Gosh...different worlds!
