For all of those who don't yet have the 50 multi:
Apply anyway. If they like YOU more than your logbook, they will either offer you a job outright or give you a conditional offer for when you get your 50. If you have less than 750 plan on going to the jet course at FSI. From what I hear it is good experience and very worthwhile. Initial can be daunting for some but with an extra couple of weeks you will be MUCH better off. As always, feel free to pm me with case-specific questions about eagle.
Sorry for the redundancy with these threads but the important part is that people are getting the info they need.

I have a question regarding the PIC upgrade thing. Maybe someone can answer it.
Lets say I (900 PIC) get hired two months after someone with less than 250 PIC. If I am less senior, can I upgrade first or do I simply hang in limbo until they can upgrade the more senior F/O who can't meet mins?

One hour of giving instruction in a twin is equivalent to 10 hours of regular dual given. It is also much more valuable than going to a time building program and doing long cross county's.
Granted it is expensive. I never had a lot of money to start with either. These kind of things take time. I instructed in single engine aircraft for a year before I got near the twin. Sometimes you just have to pay your dues. None of us are entitled to a jet job or an airline career; just because a person can get through their commercial does not mean anything.

Thats weird. I'm not at Eagle, but I run into an AE guy on my commute to LAX occasionally. He says that are not understaffed in LAX per se. They simply take the guys from there an TDY them to OTHER bases, creating a shortage of guys in the LAX base.
