yeah of the 20 of us that interviewed only 1 wanted lax and mia...so it wasn't a big deal, but they told us that if we selected lax or mia that we had to put down a 2nd choice domicile because you weren't going to get it. take it for what its worth...

I know numerous guys that have gone to AirTran, Southwest, FedEx, and on and on...from Great Lakes.

Which bottom feeders? While this may be true for airlines like GoJet and the like, it's not true for all.

The top of the list is far more stagnant than the top...let us know in 4 years if you're right, I'm curious.

yeah, you'll need that info before you can submit your app but you can start filling it out now as it will take a while. also if you want MIA, you'll need to put down SJU as your second choice so you get the atr cause thats all that is based there

Does a first class medical I got 2 years ago count as a current "first class medical" even though I only have 3rd class privileges? I sent the application with this medical, will they not call me because of this? I meet all of the other requirements.
Also how long does it usually take for them to contact you if they are interested?

Just heard back today. I have 730/20 now, plus that gay advanced jet training which is a waste of $ unless it is approved by certain airlines. They said to re-submit when I have 50 multi. Good luck though!

Not sure about the medical. During the job fair they said if your medical looses currency, you must get it current before training but I would just go ahead and get that done since you'll have to do it anyway. Also, they mentioned that they have recently seen a large increase in applications and its taking them some time to go through them. I really feel that one of the ae job fairs would be the best bet for someone because it gets you in front of the recruiters and breaks up the interview process which I think helps. They just added some more events on airlineapps.

What are the exact minimums to upgrade to capt at eagle. Does anyone know?? Everyone that posts dances around the times but no one has stated exact figures. Maybe it's been posted already and I just have to learn how to read.

A current 1st class medical would be one that you have 1st class privileges with. I doubt they would over look you for hire because of this but just like what BBflyer said, you will def have to get that current before you go into training.

My medical lapsed from a first to a second class. Luckily I have as sponsor that called recruiting and she was informed that the only thing I needed was a current first class which I went and got the next day. If it would not have been for my sponsor I would never have known. I updated airlineapps and two days later I received an invitation for an interview. I interview May 14th.
