The 12 hour rule is a pinnacle thing. I cant remember the last time I had a cocktail on an overnight.

Republic is 12 hours as well! :(

Might be able to change it if everyone, when called on a day off to pick up some extra time, said, "I'd love to, but unfortunately I had a drink nine hours ago." And when some scheduler says nine is fine, reply, "Have Mickey call me and give me written authorization."

Yeah but the hardworking pilots who have been with the company for years on the saab haven't had a raise in years. So street captains get more money, then I bet at the end of the year when the 1900s go away they will go straight to the Q. It'll be the cheaper way, screwing the saab guys.

Just shows that their argument that the equipment can't support higher pilot pay is bogus

Moral seems to be at an all time low here from what i've been noticing lately.

Welcome to our little web called Pinnacle...muwahaha...

The 12 hour rule is great when the try and activate your 10am reserve by changing it to a 8:00am show. "Sorry, Irene but I had a beer at 10pm so I am not allowed to show till 10am."

Eagle has 12 hours bottle-to-throttle on the Jets and the Saab, but its only 8 hours on the ATR... Wooohoooooo. i think ill stay on the ATR...

flyguyniner11 04-30-2008 05:19 PM

i heard from and friend of mine that they canceled his june 11 saab class because we dont have much attrition now

usmc-sgt 04-30-2008 05:21 PM

It is because there is nowhere to go. I have talked to I cant even tell you how many captains that cant wait to leave but they have been having their interviews cancelled or there is just no one hiring. All of the senior captains with 3000+ TPIC are kicking themselves now because they should have left when the going was good a year or so ago.
