Although I hold good schedules and have upgrade right around the corner I find it harder and harder to show up at work every day. This company COULD be great, but right now it a means to an end. Nothing more. And yes, I am Pi$$ed.

I agree. We have all said it has the potential to be much better once we get a new contract. For now, I'd stay away at all costs... or have I already mentioned that?

As for upgrade, say goodbye to the only thing that makes working for Pinnacle tolerable. That is, being senior and not having to come to work very often. Being a junior(ish) captain is miserable .

Yea, looking forward to a paycheck and the ability to set the tone in the cockpit, but have no desire to be on a first name basis with each scheduler, after dealing with ROE for the last few days I am almost, just almost, debating on waiting until the beginning of the year to upgrade when I am pretty sure I could upgrade and hold a line. Then again I came here for the PIC time so its kinda like running the first 25 miles of a marathon and stopping at a Pub to grab a beer and a pizza. Just doesn't make sense.

I struggled with that as well. I decided to upgrade knowing that anything could happen at anytime in this industry, although if I was a betting man I would expect that we are going to be around for some time to come. In my opinion, you would probably be OK waiting but it's probably still best to upgrade as soon as you can just in case. Tough choice, especially here...
