Default Time to Teach?

Out of boredum, I was browsing through job postings and saw lots postings looking for CFI's and was shocked at the number of, dare I say, decent to good cfi jobs out there! Many with better pay than the regionals! For those of you who may have missed the boat on the hiring frenzy, you might want to start looking around. As the regionals continue to slam the doors, competition for these jobs will once again be strong. Something we haven't seen in a few years. I remember when I get my CFI certs in '03, I had a heck of time finding a job. 250TT/150ME but no dual given, most places wouldn't even give me an interview. Something to think about.

Absolutely, if I were near the bottom, I'd be sure to have my foot in the door at a good CFI-gig...Hell, it would even be a payraise for the most of us!

My CFI gig paid twice as much as my regional job does. Better benefits too and I was home every night and off every weekend.
