Comair Interview

I'd say Comair used to be one of the better because of good pay scales, work rules, aircraft we fly, etc. Now that there is so much whoring out at Delta Connection (ie Mesa, Skywest, Pinnacle) we have pay that's pretty much regional standard. I would have to say that Comair has treated me well, we stay in good hotels (same as Delta pilots), we're ALPA, and have an all jet fleet. Being based in the midwest (CVG) is nice too.
The grass is only greener as you get close to the septic tank when it comes to regional airlines.

Being one of the only regionals actively hiring I would be advertising the heck out of this place to get more people under me! But like I said do a little research to form your own opinion if you're thinking about coming here.

Checkout of your hotel prior to leaving for Comair and bring your bags with you. The best hotel deal I think was Baymont Inn at about $40 for the night with free shuttle service and breakfast. I know a lot of people stay at the Holiday Inn, but its about $20 more. I'm still a poor CFI (soon to be FO) Comair has a shuttle that runs every hour from Corporate HQ to the Terminal.

I am going up on June 3rd for an interview on the 4th. I am wondering, where are we going to put our bags when we get to the interview? is it not best to leave them at the hotel and go back to get them after the interview?????

Jesse, I agree with you, I don't want to bring my bags with me, but at the same time I don't want to have to go all the way back to the hotel. Did you stay at the Holiday Inn? How far from headquarters was your hotel? Any other input you may have about the interview is also appreciated.....
