Okay... So at least they didn't cancel a class. Maybe they're just leary of scheduling a September class so far in advance.

I got a call with my aircraft assingment today-Brasilia! WOOHOO! 28 people on the Brasilia pool. Still no word on class date. She said there was a Brasilia new hire class starting next week, and a RJ new hire class starting the week after. She said she wasn't aware of any new hire classes for August, but that there were some transition classes scheduled but she didn't know the details b/c she only deals with new hires. She also said the 22 RJ deliveries are still on and to start Oct or Nov.

I interviewed on the 17th and got my Brasilia study packet in the mail. No class date assignment yet though.

Good news, I'm tired of swimming, would have taken a Brasilia class but Mesa is still paying me to do nothing.

We were told on Monday that there were going to be no classes for the month of August EMB or CRJ. I assume in September they will be back to a EMB class. Keep your swimsuits on for alittle longer yall!

Class just started on Monday. As of yesterday we are still planning on the September RJ and EMB classes. I am pretty sure most are looking to far into this message. A base closure like PDX, probably. Furloughs? As of now I will say no. After all a base closure would affect peoples lives like Chip mentioned.
