I find it amazing that when I bring up the pay rates for the -900 you guys get really upset.
I'll let you know something about a standup guy at Mesaba. He took the Saab because he didn't see the point in flying the -900 for the same rate. Too bad other people don't share that attitude otherwise you would have higher rates flying them.
Go ahead, just ignore that fact and call me a dbag or flame bait. It really shows your character.

FYI 900 2nd year FO is $33/hour now...or can you not read APC? And that's retro to the start of 900 service...and that will go up if we get a contract, which will eventually have to happen (2008=New Pres=New NMB=Strike or Contract).
If I were at XJT I would probably be keeping in touch with my good friends at 9E, since we're probably the best bet for a job if things go south at your company. We're cheap and things might go south here one day too, but at least we're hiring, eh?

I would still demand $40/hr + on the -900 if I were you guys.
And no I don't want to work for Pinnacle, I feel pretty good with 2,000 pilot jobs guaranteed for the next 7 years here.

I didn't call you a dbag. I'm not upset about the 900 rates at all. I could care less about it b/c I don't want to live in ATL doing day trips...even though it's significantly more money than our sad 200 rates.
I really don't understand your vendetta against 9E...we're not trying to take you over, we're not bidding on your flying, and we don't even fly the same airframe. I could understand you being mad at Colgan doing the Q400 CAL flying, but my certificate and my airframe have nothing to do with you or your job, so why are you even posting in this thread?

With your knowledge of everybody else's regionals you should realize in this day of age NOTHING in the industry is guaranteed...the only guarantee is there are bean counters, immoral lawyers and ignorant judges that will see to that.

FYI I was talking about Mesaba's 2nd year FO pay. I know Pinnacle has a higher rate now. Still sucks though, I'll be getting $35/hr and probably $38,000 take home this year. Also ask Eagle and Skywest guys what they get for second year on a 50 seater.
I would still demand $40/hr + on the -900 if I were you guys.

Last time I checked, CAL isn't.
Oh and what happened to RAH's guaranteed contract with Frontier. I don't think a 10-year deal with NWA or DAL will mean much when they merge, especially when they own Mesaba, Comair, and Compass.

Yeah, would you put money on that? There is no such thing as a guatanteed pilot job. Maybe once you come down off what you are smoking you will see that we are all vulnerable and nothing can be called guaranteed. If you think that way then I am sure you will be one of the first at the McDonalds next to the airport.

Thats funny. You won't get a new contract till you put the screws to them. Sure doesn't sound like that is happening there. Don't expect a new president to get you a new contract. Once the ASA pilots put the screws to the operation, they got a contract
