Default Honestly, who got hired?

Ok, as a potential up and coming airline pilot I am really curious as to who if anybody on this forum went to the Farmington Mesa school and was hired after completing their training. And I don't mean after instructing for a few years, I mean after they finished the training program and had 300TT and 50Multi or whatever you have when you graduate?

Haven't been to MAPD but have flown with plenty of their grads. Do yourself a favor and take a the more traditional route. You'll save money, learn more along the way, and have many more options then Mesa wiill afford you!

The MAPD program actually does manage to get about 80% of it's students jobs at Mesa. This is a higher success rate than many other similar programs. It seems to be a high-quality program also.

However, like the other guy said there are numerous advantages to having CFI ratings and experience. Also, if Mesa were to downsize or stop hiring the MAPD training (and $3.20) will get you a Latte at Starbucks.

I got hired with 23 multi hours and 300TT. Those who make it, make it for a reason. Those who don't, don't for a reason. I can assure you the 20% who don't aren't victims of anything other than perhaps their own lack of effort.

91% hire rate last academic year. Bad attitudes/cockiness were the overwhelming characteristics of the 9% who didn't get on.
