Question

Last question...How does one figure out the most junior guy who got a conversion line?

Only thing I can say to do is look at the final schedule and people with a "line" but have a reserve line number (i.e. 704). Then compare their seniorities???

The thing I have noticed in the past is that they never convert a reserve line unless that person has the seniority to hold a line in the first place. For example if there are 150 lines and you are number 145 and bid reserve but for a conversion line they might award you one. But if you are number 151 you can assume they will not convert it.

No, in March my whole training class was awarded reserve because of reduced lines and the IOE instructors bidding up 30 something of the hard lines. I asked to be converted to a line, then to long call. I was given a conversion line.
