Default Mesa is hiring?

Got an email today from Mesa (how they got my email I have no Idea) but they say they are hiring and have an open house in august.

I thought they were in deep S*%*#, what is going on. I am not planning on going for several (obvious) reasons, but I guess for some people a job is better than nothing.

Holy crap, even I got an email. How did they get my address, I do have an airline apps account but DAL is my only target. I have NEVER sent Mesa a resume or an application. What a joke operation they have.

Here’s the email: I deleted some of the info.

Apparently anyone with an airline apps account will get it. They are still short on the CRJ side, but I'd imagine it will be like the Comair fiasco, hiring one day and furloughing the next.

All I can say about this is that you'd have to be stupid to go to Mesa now. Especially at 30cents a share. If you're unemployed and can't instruct, even unemployment will pay more than the mesa training guarantee and you get to stay home. Best case scenario if you're hired at the open houses, you'll start flying by Christmas...

Apparently they got some "extra" flying on the DL side the judge awarded them from the DL case. They had 25 lines out of JFK, I guess they will have 35 now. At least that's what I've heard. Might explain why they are hiring.

Did the e-mail list any minimums?

Got the same e-mail, I know everyone says to stay away from them. Is it true they make you pay for your own hotel during training and its' shared?

They can't make you share a hotel room that you're paying for, but most do so that they can reduce the cost.

They also don't pay you until you get past a certain point. I'm sure that others can add more, I'm just repeating info from a friend of mine who was there for a year but has now been at SKW for almost 10 months now.
