TopGun, that's pretty narrow-minded of you to take a bad experience on Mesa/Freedom (the worst) and apply it to all regional carriers.... I have had bad experiences on Mesa/Freedom before. They are the exception. Next time try Comair, ASA, ExpressJet, Skywest, etc.. Every carrier has their occasional flight where nothing seems to go right. But I guess with your 'claimed' experience, you would only know this if the Mesa/Freedom jungle jet was in a 4-G negative dive with a Mig...

But I guess I dont need to tell you any of this.... with your top secret clearance, you can read about it.

Oh yea:

You went below the hard deck.
"He knew I had the lock on him and it was at this point Commander proceeded to go below the hard deck. So I followed him and took the shot.

"So you went below the deck and TOOK THE SHOT!! And broke the major rules of engagement."

"Lieutent Mitchell those rules are for your own safety and for the safety of other Naval aviators at Topgun. Either OBEY them or you are HISTORY, IS THAT CLEAR?"

"YES SIR."

"DISMISSED."

"Thanks Topgun, I really needed that."

I have to agree on this one as well. All of what you mentioned is par for the course at Dulles, regardless of carrier.

You know, come to think of it, TopGun may be a ruse...nobody is that clueless.

With all the turmoil going on right now - high fuel, furlough's, and the final straw - APC being sold - I am thinking that HSLD put this post here just to make us laugh. It is probably a plot.

You know, in this defense, these flight attendants need to look at the passengers. That irks me to no end, whether I am flying or riding. If you talk to someone, you look at them.

"I lost the edge, Sir. I am holding on too tight."

"Topgun references never get old." I still remember the Old Army barrack balads of that day. "Old soldiers never die, They just fade away."

But they moved two people for W/B?

Get you story straight.
