Ps. It's funny how we lost so much flying and couldn't get any growth while we were negotiating a new contract but Pinnacle seems to have no problem.

Your morning constitution must not stink like everyone elses's.....

Why is that? Because I posted simply that ASA loves hearing you guys keep posting your suppossed good fortunes and how you are all so excited to keep growing for DAL in ATL while ASA keeps getting sh!t on???? Yea, right. That means I feel like my crap don't stink? More like the other way around.

Maybe keep your glowing commoents about how super it is that you are getting a ton more planes/flying for DAL while ASA shrinks/downgrade and furloughs to yourself. And.....who cares if it's not a pilots decision, blah blah. Quit hiding behind that. It still comes at the expense of ASA pilots in their only base. Sure, it's a public forum and you can post what you like, but have some sense.

Anyway, see you guys in MEM soon!

You know, if you don't want to hear what the PNCL pilots are saying, no one is forcing you to read any thread with Pinnacle in the title. Just a thought.

Pinnacle gets more flying, complains they dont have a contract but at the same time still keeps flying on time and getting titles like most on time airline in the country. Yah, I am sure your management is in a big rush to sign an expensive contract when you keep putting out good numbers and getting more flying.

While it comes off a little harsh, he does have a point. We have a SH$% contract right? Yes. We get treated like SH$% right? Yes.
But as far as 9E management is concerned the airline runs ontime, and they get best ontime awards... blah blah blah. Why would they be eager to come to the table, there getting what they want. Pilots that will work for SH&* money and rules, but do what they are told when they are told.
While I disagree with him saying that if we went on strike nobody would walk... but if we did, there will be scabs.
If this session at the end of the month does not yield any results with the NMB then we are in trouble. I personally think we will not have a TA for another year.
Last question, do you think NW mainline guys would be running an award winning airline if they were without contract for 5 years? Heck they bought NW to a standstill last summer when they were having problems with overtime!

Dude if you don't like the industry...QUIT!!!! Maybe you should get on your management and tell them to be aggressive on their biding for flying!!! Maybe you should take a business course or two and become a manager yourself and turn your company around instead of crying about...DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!! If you want ASA to get flying...man...start tell your company to be aggressive...stop putting the blame on other pilot groups and if we have something to celebrate...we are going to celebrate...and if you don't want to read about it...DONT OPEN THE THREAD...it is a really simple process. CRYBABY!!!!!

I am sick and tired of other pilot groups getting mad and other pilot groups...are you guys for real!!! Did you not know what you were getting yourself into when you said "I wanna be a airline pilot and fly shiny jets" Did you not study...or do research...My God...THIS IS AN AIRLINE BUSINESS...key word...BUSINESS!!!

Truman...if you thought it was going to be a rosy ride to the top my friend in this business...you have a rude awakeing my friend...ITS TOUGH...Its not the 1960's anymore...We are in a 2008's Greedy Management Pricey Oil Cheap Passenger Environment. Not only is a pilot going to have to know the safety elements of flight...they are going to have to make correct business descisions on which airline they are going to go to...none of this crap of "who ever calls me first"

Truthfully...I had a job offer from ASA, Mesaba and Pinnacle...well I choose PNCL...not for the money (All money aint good money)...but for the stability...10 year contracts...at least I knew I could build my time with them for the next 7-9 years if needed then move on to something better...ASA was too wishy washy on what they were doing with there ATR's and they just got bought by Skywest and Mesaba just got out of CHAP 11.

I am not trying to Flame on you TRUMAN but just trying to make a point...You had a choice to go to ASA...did you look at there business plan for the future? Their history and their marketing and their relationships with their vendors (meaning Delta). When you go to your next airline...try not to only look at their payscales...but also look at there business...I wish all the best for the guys at ASA

Trumann you really might want to stay away from these 9e threads because one of these days someone is going to post "hooray pinnacle pilots signed a TA" and then you will have a total caniption/stroke/meltdown! Good thing 1st class medicals are good for a year now!

All you people are childish. Grow a set and do your job the best you know how. Fighting each other is exactly what these management groups want. Stay united, work hard and dont let these management groups break our unity. The fruits of our labor will show up in due time.
