I was one of the 49 who got furloughed.....they told us 8-10 months. In reality though, I wouldnt really hold my breath for MAG. We had a luncheon where JO came and talked to the pilot group, and you could just tell by the way that he was talking that Delta and Mesa were not gonna be partners much longer. It sounded like he was going to try and settle financially with Delta if he could. Mesa has a huge payment coming up in either JAN or FEB and they dont even have the money to pay it. Going to ERJ's statement about the furloughs, yea it was really weird that they furloughed 50 guys and all of a sudden CRJ vacations are no longer cancelled cause there staffed now. Things were really sketchy at the Training center the two days after the Delta thing, no one was talking about it or even acknowleding the fact that it had happened. Then next thing you know they buy us lunch and good old Jorn Bates comes in to tell us were done....

People have been saying this for years.
If we can get the ERJ guys to the CRJ (become properly staffed) and get a new contract for us pilots, we could be a decent airline.
The pilot group is doing everything it can to get a contract we can be proud of.

JO will never be broke. He's already been lining his pockets there for over a decade. Nobody above Chief Pilot will suffer.

I would never be so sure..... Sometimes fate has a good sense of humor-remember that time Fabio was riding that roller coaster and happened to take a goose to the face?
-AWESOME!
-Oh what sights we have to show you.... J.O.

Is it that long? I heard that the Mesa Airways contract will expire the end of this year.
I sure hope that it is the latter. The sooner we can take over the 900 flying at PSA, the better. Expansion is what we need to get our furloughs back and resume upgrades.
