I hope this kind of stuff gets resolved, ASAP. I have flown on Pinnacle many times, and have always enjoyed timely flights, quality service, and reasonable prices. Good company that I wouldn't mind working for down the road.

You want to work for pinnacle because you don't mind being treated like sheat and be broke to the bone but because your flights will be on time?
You don't get it do you?

Thanks to the ones that support. For the ones that are telling us to sit in our hands, just shush it . We are ready to blow out here....
A new contract won't come by itself, the company have been pushing it and they'll continue to push it as long as there are not consecuences.
Mesa is the best example on how a company can't treat their people like shiat and expect no consecuences on the long run. Mesa used to a big profitable regional operator and look at them now. Pinnacle thinks that they can treat their people like shiat and we always be efficient and profitable. We really need to start working on something here. A pin saying we are united........well, the company is going to laugh really hard on that one.

As I suggested before, how about starting with going tieless. No more ties, the whole pilot group. Or maybe custom made ties that say STRIKE NOW ! with big letters all across. How about a big arse sticker (the size of a flight kit) that says I AM "FATIGUED" OF THIS COMPANY, (or something that get's attention) I don't know if it's lame or not, I don't care, I just want to do something.

No one's telling you to sit on your hands but its shows complete ignorance and immaturity to posting job actions on a website. Let's say you do the job action. This info will be used in court against the pilot group and the mediator will punish you hard for it. Try recessing negotiations for at least six months until you come back to play nice. If you do a work action, spread the word verbally. Don't EVER leave tracks. That's just stupid and you will LOSE! Plus, you punish other pilot groups because this creates a president that can be used by other managements against their boys.

I think you need to re-read the post. I was not talking about mistreating equipment or slowing down. If we take action, we are not to be taken to court because a website, we are going to taken because those actions, period. Besides that, why do you freak out so much about a website? who says a work for pinnacle? do you work for Delta? who knows..........whatever..........chill out man. So, what do you propose?

This place is not as anonimous as you may think, and I think what he is trying to say is that before you go off make the rest of the pilots in the country look like idiots (passengers dont know which airline you work for) you need to step back and think about the best way to go about this. And just like the rest of us, you can always quit.

Yeah I work for Delta. I've also worked at two other regionals prior to getting hired seven years ago. I can tell you that if you put this stuff on a website don't think that the company isn't watching. If a slowdown were to occur, they will use this in court. AA pilots and Comair pilots got burned because of a voice recording and pilot groups can get burned for this. Its hard for a judge not to believe that if a slowdown is being advocated on a website, between pilots, and that slowdown does occur that there wasn't collusion. You will get boned and mediators don't put up with this. That's what I'm saying.

Freak out? I could care less what you do. I'll just hate to say I told you so. Learn from others who've been there before you. Sounds like this is your first contract.

Unfortunately lots of the newer generation of pilots I have found do not like to learn from the mistakes/success of others before them. Too independent, " I know it all I learned all about airline history in 3 credits in college" mentality.

not directed at anyone specific so no hate mail please....

You mean the "I got a commercial ticket with a CRJ Type Rating and 210 TT" crowd. To much testosterone to realize they are going to a place they don't want to be in. When the time comes to "shut her down" do so knowing the ramifications of what you do. I have total support for any group who strikes but the idea you are some valiant crusade that you will completely prevail in carries some risks.

Very true, I know of one cargo airline that hired a PI to crack people's aliases on this board that were talking bad about the company, then fired the lot "for cause".

I agree with your advice to use discretion, but I dont believe an anonymous post on a public website could legally hold up, they would have to prove somehow that it was actually you that posted it, when all that would have to be said is someone could possibly sign in as you and make a post, either with your computer or from a remote location after knowing your email and figuring out your password.

But like I said you make a good point and people should think about who can view these posts, I know for a fact some hr people check these websites.
