Pinnacle Ready To Blow

Word of being put on ice is traveling like wildfire, and the pilots aren't happy.

The pilot group and management will not meet again until AT LEAST April of 2009. This is unacceptable.

Things are about to change. Help make it happen.

Fly SAFE.

Safety is critical. I noticed recently that the placard above the ADG door that says "danger keep away" is becoming quite worn and somewhat unreadable on much of the fleet. After a few incidents involving the ADG deploying on the ground, it is critical to our ramp crew's safety that we ensure this placard is readable.

SLOWDOWNS!!

I cant believe the pilot group is still waiting for a new contract.

ADG placard, required ID plates inside of flaps and aileron housings, gear door mesh flaps fully intact all the way around wheel well, RA tests, Checklists done at full stop, No "Re-Routing"....I'm just sayin

Careful bros.

When did the ADGs deploy on the ground anyways? Was the a/c at the gate or taxiing?

I posted this in the Pinncle latest rumor thread:

This is the last part of an email I just got from 9E MEC:

Very soon a specially designed lapel pin will be delivered to each and every one of you. It is a visible reminder of our unwavering commitment to each other and our unfailing dedication to reach a fair contract. I request that all pilots wear this new pin to demonstrate to management that our unity will not be broken through the passage of time or with a heavy hand. Our struggles to achieve what is fair and right are not yet complete, and like our forefathers of the early Labor Movement, we will continue to fight for what we deserve until we prevail. In Unity, Captain Scott EricksonMaster Executive Council, Chairman

Man, we are really violent.....a pin??? yeahhh......let's managment HAVE IT !

I'm sorry guys, I really support ALPA but right now I don't want to hear about no pin. Unity is very important, but it's got to work for action, not just for words. We are really frustrated. A pin won't bring us a new contract.

P.S. I'm sure I'll end up wearing it, but right now I just don't want to hear nothing that doesn't bring solutions.
