Guys, just do what the book says, and you're covered any time of day. If the checklist says APU "as required", then turn it on if you require it, turn it off if you don't, simple as that, or when you run out of gas, whichever comes 1st:)

Don't release the parking brake until you're ready to push, both mentally and physically.
