Wow...just wow... Was this only on the 200 model or is it on th 7 and 9 as well?

I know they must be trying to prevent the TRs from deploying onthe TO roll or in flight but still...a calculator has the computing power to tell the TRs when to fire...

There are TR switches in the 200/700/900. They are always armed for takeoff and landing.

Let me rephrase that...they are always SUPPOSED to be armed for takeoff and landing.

It's been a long time but don't we calculate our landing distance without TR's? I know on the EMB our LD is w/out Reverse. Also I was told that this was a "Steer Inop" at the wrong time.

If you look at the United States as one big region, I guess it makes sense. Plus both LAX and SAT are small airports that otherwise could not be served by mainline becuase they are uncontrolled fields and lack of services.

You got me there. They are on if the crew correctly adheres to the checklist.
