I went home.
it was not the lifestyle that I had been dreaming of since I was six years old.
i was a teacher. that is where my pashion was, didnt know it till i left.
So i came home. Came home to my wife, my dog, my hobbies, and my students.
I came home
Thats all i got.

Just like everything else in life.......
Tens of thousands dream of becoming big time lawyers, doctors or even making it to the NFL, or NBA and so on but time does what it does best. When the going gets tough.......................
Believe it or not, there are guys and gals at Colgan, Mesa or Republic and so forth that are having the time of their lives. Then there are those that absolutely hate it.... All I am trying to say is just like everything else in life, it is clear that not all of us are cut out to be aviators. Just my two cents worth!

Nicely put. I know of a few instructors at my flight school that have gone part time or have quit all together to find better paying jobs. But not me, I love flying too much plus I know the industry goes though its cycles. So I just keep on instructing and keep on flying, better days will come.

I think what you should be saying is not everyone is cut out to be an airline pilot. A person with a private pilots license is an aviator so is a 777 captain. Even a person that has a student pilots license in my book is an aviator.
