Basically its a staged withdrawl from BOS. Roughly seniority numbers 1-50 are going JAN1 50-75 on DEC 2, 75-116 on Nov 1st. I'm slated now to go Dec 2nd now. I expect it to change again next month. Many do not expect it to fully close for two reasons. First we(the union) would not give them a co domicle in NY. It was seen as a concession. Second AMR cannot get out the slots in LGA without losing them altogther. They just tried leasing them and got shot down by the DOT. So they may just keep much of it same just to keep the slots and lose money with them. Who knows. It's getting interesting though.

I'd say its a step in the right direction. It buys me another month to look for a new job.

Plan? I don't think that is in the works for any of us in the near future.

The Flowplan is NOT an OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION for training. They can change it whenever they please.

haha it just makes me realize that finding another job by nov 1st is more and more less likely to happen...

i figure this is the 2nd or 3rd one in about a month and a half so i'm hoping there's another one in a few weeks...

what still boggles my mind is that boston was apparently the best base for on-time flying and really good on attendance...seemed like an all around good outfit Eagle had working for them...now they're closing it? to open a base in jfk? the most delay ridden/backed up airport around? sounds like AMR really wants to throw a lot of money away...

then again they have all that money saved up from our single engine taxiing.
